Adobe released today a update to ColdFusion 9, emphasizing the following of the updated properties list:

- ORM support for multiple data sources
- Amazon S3 support
- Support for IIS 7
- New script functions implemented as CFCs
- Support for BlazeDS 4 and LCDS 3
- Configurable seed for password encryption
- Server monitoring enhancements to handle load conditions

The website groups.adobe.com was migrated to ColdFusion 9. With this update, Adobe confirms ColdFusion as their back-end default.

Previous to this, the site tv.adobe.com had received ColdFusion in his back-end.

Today Adobe announced the new versions of Flex 4 SDK and the Flex 4 that this version will be known as Flash Builder. A longstanding demand of the ColdFusion Community, now been met, the Adobe released IDE exclusive ColdFusion called ColdFusion Builder, based on Eclipse. Other big news is Adobe Flash Platform Services Social service, that allows Flash and Flex applications make integration with social networks with great ease.
